Please call customer care".Įver since I've tried to talk to 5 to 6 reps and one expert- who have helped raised an unlock request for me which didn't work, then asked me to use the device for 7 days which didn't help, then for 40 days and then at the end, said they can't do it and I should reach out to Samsung, since their app continued to give the same error everytime. I was approved the unlock by them but Anytime I try using the DEVICE UNLOCK APP I get an error the moment i hit continue- " Device not recognized by your service provider. This replacement device was NOT UNLOCKED and I tried to reach out to several Tmobile reps on the Chat available in the Tmobile App and get it done since I still met all the eligibility criteria.
I had some issues with my phone's display and after sending it for service twice and being unable to fix the issue, Samsung REPLACED and sent a New Note 8 to me tied to Tmobile as my original device was with tmobile.
Since it was paid in full and i met all the unlock eligibility requirements Tmobile reps were able to help Unlock my Phone. I had purchased My Note 8 from with tmobile.
